The product manager will indicate if an update is available for your product, and allow you to download and install the update directly.

• Fixed: “Open microphone mode” option remains active regardless of “Push-To-Talk” (PTT) setting.

• Added: Logic to detect corrupted XML setting files, and to fix them automatically, to prevent the “XML root missing” error at startup.
• Added: New option to use an improved speech recognition system. Note: It’s still using Windows Speech API (SAPI). It’s not using generative AI. Training might be required the first time you use it.  The option is on the FS2Crew Settings panel. If you experience an issue, uncheck this option to revert to the old system.
• Fixed: The splash window becomes stuck and unresponsive after the speech recognition engine fails to load.
• Fixed: When restarting the application, it could revert from Voice to Button Control.
• Fixed: The animated crew appears in the cockpit with a pink texture only on PMDG 777-200ER variants (GE/PW/RR).
• Fixed: Unable to call the ground crew to connect/disconnect the GPU and other ground equipment.

• Fixed: In the Before Start Procedure, the sequence of pressurizing HYD in the animated FO version mismatches the Boeing sequence.
• Fixed: FO calls out “Beacon Light” in the Before Start checklist in ECL mode. Beacon light is a closed-loop item. Must be silent.
• Fixed: FO calls recall without touching the Button.
• Fixed: 777 FMAs callouts seem not to be recognized.
• Fixed: Non-working and transparent cockpit when installing on top of 777-200ER (RR/GE/PW) models.
• Improved: The “CAPT 3D BODY AND LEGS” option is now disabled by default.
• Updated: WASM module due to recent changes in FBW and 777 Animated FO products.
MSFS 2020 PMDG 777 Animated FO install instructions!
 
This only applies to MSFS 2020, not 2024!
 
You need to start clean if you are updating!
 
Please do this carefully:
 
 
1- Shutdown or close MSFS 2020.
 
2- Completely uninstall FS2Crew PMDG 777 Animated FO from your machine.
 
2.a- Uninstall using Windows Control Panel.
2.b- Manually delete these folders from your MSFS 2020 Community folder if they are still present:
 
“fs2crew-cmd-center”
“q-dsn-aicopilot-module”
“q-dsn-aicopilot-pmdg-B777”
 
3- Completely remove ALL your PMDG 777 variants. Do NOT use the PMDG Operation Center (OC) v3.0 to delete these variants. Please delete these models MANUALLY to ensure it’s done correctly and thoroughly. To accomplish this, completely remove these folders from your MSFS 2020 Community folder:
 
“pmdg-aircraft-77w”
“pmdg-aircraft-77f”
“pmdg-aircraft-77er”
“pmdg-aircraft-77l”
 
Also remove any associated liveries:
 
“pmdg-aircraft-77w-liveries”
“pmdg-aircraft-77f-liveries”
“pmdg-aircraft-77er-liveries”
“pmdg-aircraft-77l-liveries”
 
* Important: If you use “Addon Linker”, and the previous folders appear as “Links” (Symlinks/Symbolic Links) in your MSFS 2020 Community directory, then go to where the physical/original folders are and delete them as well, so there is no trace of anything related to PMDG 777 in your machine.
 
If using any other 3rd-party PMDG 777 liveries, uninstall them as well.
 
Again, the goal is to start completely fresh and clean!
 
4- Restart your machine.
 
5- Reinstall all your PMDG 777 variants using PMDG Operation Center (OC) v3.0.
 
6- Reinstall all your PMDG 777 liveries using PMDG Operation Center (OC) v3.0.
 
7- Reinstall FS2Crew PMDG 777 Animated FO program using the FS2Crew Product Manager.
 
8- Run the FS2Crew Installation Checker tool to ensure all is GREEN/PASSED.
 
9- Run MSFS 2020.
